Responsibilities

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

  • Access charges, quote customer and collect for repairs

  • Tie workflow to schedule

  • Manage all on-site, repair, maintenance and test tasks

  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions

  • Produce timely and detailed service reports

  • Document processes

  • Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems

  • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols

  • Cooperate with technical and administration teams and share information across the organization

  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings

  • Build positive relationships with customers

Requirements

  • Proven field service experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment

  • English literacy

  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules

  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications

  • Technical degree or certification

  • 3 – 5 years experience

  • Gas license (DA min) G2 (asset)

  • ODP Certificate

  • Sealed Refrigeration System repair ability

  • Own repair tools

  • Clean driving abstract (asset)

Home Appliance Installer

Home Appliance Installer Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

  • Managing all on-site installations

Job brief

We are looking for a self-starter appliance installer to deliver the desired customer service experience in installing household appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, and stoves and etc. in customers' homes. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches

  • Observes and tests operation of appliances, such as refrigerators, washers, and dryers, and makes initial installation adjustments accordingly

  • Levels washing machines and connects hoses to water pipes, using plumbing and other hand tools

  • Disassembles and re-installs existing kitchen cabinets and assembles and installs prefabricated kitchen cabinets in conjunction with appliance installation

  • Advises customers regarding use and care of appliance and provides them with emergency service number

  • Lights and adjusts pilot lights on gas stoves and examines valves and burners for gas leakage and specified flame

  • Levels refrigerators, adjusts doors, and connects water lines to water pipes for ice makers and water dispensers, using hand tools

  • Handling and Moving Objects -- Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things

  • Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems

  • Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols

  • Build positive relationships with customers

Requirements

  • Need basic, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry experience (certifications would be an asset)

  • Proven field service experience an asset

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test

  • English literacy

  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications

  • Own repair tools

  • Clean driving abstract (asset)
